I maintain this journal (also on Yahoo 360) to connect with friends, share my experiences, and discuss a wide variety of interests. Sounds pretty typical but with one exception: I am a transgendered person in my mid-30's and married to a wonderful lady. I was born male, but my gender identity is a mishmash of potential with a predominantly female flavor (hint: it's got bergamot in it). I am currently exploring "how far" I need to adjust my external presentation in order to remain a happy and well-adjusted person. Every day presents me with exciting and sometimes frightening possibilities.
Renee Reyes, Lynn Conway, Donna Rose, Kate Bornstein, and many other brilliant and courageous TG people are my inspiration. Beware... my endless gushing praise borders on outright idolatry.
Disclaimer: I am a rebellious, creative, and passionate person who is not looking for a sex hookup. I want relationships with real friends, as in people who might actually dig me as a human being (and vice versa).
